Beauty in the Details, Episode 03
This is the third installment of my newest series, “Beauty in the Details”. This time, rather than focusing exclusively on my Tacoma, I decided to direct my attention towards something a little different – a few abandoned train cars.
I’ve always had a strange fascination with trains, every since I was a little girl. I’m not entirely sure why, but to this day, I still find them to be awe-inspiring in a way. Maybe it’s their sheer size or their earth-rumbling thunder as they roll by – who knows.
The day I went out to film, I knew I wanted to try to chase after and film a train. My first location snagged a few close-up track shots, but to my disappointment, no trains came by on that particular track. Second location was a bust all together. Just as I was leaving the area, I noticed a row of abandoned train cars right off the I-80 freeway. They ended up becoming the primary focus of the video, which turned out to be a lot of fun practicing on something entirely new.
Hopefully you guys enjoyed a little change of scenery with this one.
